about

Bronwyn's Schottis is a Swedish-style fiddle tune named after Bronwyn Bird, famed nyckelharpa player (her picture is on the nyckelharpa wikipedia page!), which traverses two musical universes: acoustic and heavy metal. This epic recording features Bronwyn Bird (Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers, Birdhouse Center For The Arts) on nyckelharpa & voice, Andy Reiner (Half Pelican, High Lonesome, River of Suck podcast) on acoustic & electric 5-string fiddles, Bassil Silver (Spirit Of The Wood, Powerglove) on drums, mixing and mastering, and Evan Marien on electric bass.
